As I write this I still can't quite believe it, but my little baby turned a big 1 last month. The past year seems to have gone by so quickly, although at the time the sleepless nights seemed very long! For my older son's 1st birthday we had a big monkey themed birthday party for him, and so we didn't want Theo to miss out.Luckily our new house has a bit more space in the garden and he has an August birthday, so this meant we were able to have a bouncy castle and play outside. We went with a "1" themed party this time & I couldn't resist getting the Twirlywoos in there somewhere, as he laughs his head off when they come on the TV. Which themes did you have for your little ones 1st birthday?Theo was lucky to get lots of lovely presents from his family & friends and even Uncle James & Auntie Lauren in Australia sent him one. It was the "Latches" puzzle by Melissa & Doug and has proved to be a big hit, not only with Theo but also his brother Rowan & his older cousins! Sending gifts by post for children is quite popular as many Aunties, Uncles and Grandparents for example might not be able to share the day itself. We started off with Baby Gift Baskets and Student Gift Baskets, before adding Gift Baskets For Children and 1st Birthday Gift Baskets. You might wonder what we would put into such as gift, so let me show you. You can also browse the range on our website here. We'd love to hear from you if you have sent or received one of our 1st Birthday Gift Baskets please? Or let us know what you would like to see when we are creating new ones.
