It's back to old school ways, and I'm doing the Monday 'Daily Dispatch' blog. This was my original day way back when we first started writing about all the lovely baskets we send out. Lovely Laura took over when I was on Maternity leave, but this week we have switched days.I always like the Monday blog, as Monday is our busiest dispatch day and so there are lots of options to choose from. The Gourmet hamper is probably one of our most popular hampers/baskets, yet I don't think it appears that much as we probably worry about showing it too often. It was just so pretty looking with it's decorative yellow roses that I couldn't resist including it, and then right beside it was Ting-A-Tangalicious also looking glorious. So which would I include? Yes, you know me too well - both!'The Gourmet' hamper was ordered by a couple in California, for friends in Harrogate. They wanted to thank them for the day out and dinner they had with them lately on their visit to the UK. They also mentioned they hoped to see them again soon, and this time sooner than 9 years! It's a perfect combination of sweet and savoury treats including 3 types of cheese, oatcakes, Butler's chocolates and red wine.The Ting-A-Tangalicious basket is more of a sweet treat and highlights include white wine, chocolate covered toffee waffles and handmade sweets. The message for this one was written in Irish and so a quick translation showed me it was a combination birthday & get well gift basket for Ciara in Co. Dublin.
