I was really tempted to skip today's individual dispatch blogs and just create a singular Basket of the Day blog post instead, because the workload in the office is simply starting to increase at a rapid pace and we in the admin team are starting to find it a tad bit difficult to fit blogging in amongst all these other tasks that seems to land on our desk and required completion at the snap of your fingers. I had even started to list and write down all the things I have to do on a bit of scrap coloured paper (so it doesn't get lost in all the normal paper on my desk) because I'm starting to get worried I'll end up being a scatterbrain and forget to do this and that! But then I walked out and looked at all the baskets and hampers, and thought that how much longer can I have these individual writing moments before Christmas orders take over? Only a few weeks, I think. So I better enjoy it while I can! Onwards! To individual dispatch blog posts! We shall start with a Cheesy Wine Birthday Hamper.2410887 Cheesy Wine BirthdayTo the birthday duo Cliona and Mike (they share the same birthday? Twins?) in London, UK. This Cheesy Wine hamper is presented a little differently from our usual Cheesy Sunshine range; instead of an open top basket with cellophane wrap, this particular variant of opts for a lidded hamper approach instead. Why? To protect the bottle of wine, of course. Wouldn't be very nice to get the hamper and have the bottle smashed, no?The next feature is a set of small chocolate hampers ordered by a corporate client of ours.CORP Red Hot LavaUrsula ordered six of these Red Hot Lavas as a thank you gift for a business partner company. She first called through on the phone to enquire if it's possible for us to box the hampers individually and label each box for a different recipient each despite it all going to the same place. We informed her no problem at all! Not only that, when she sent through the delivery address in email, it turns out that the recipients are in a company which had ordered from us before! What a coincidence! And then we have a hamper, Great Taste Award Gold with a message which speaks for itself (and also challenged us to fit it all onto one small message label)
504532 GTA Gold"Dear Holly, Ava, Sandra & Liam, Congratulations on becoming a family of four. We are delighted that everyone is happy and healthy. I hope you enjoy the hamper treats and that they assist in overcoming some of the sleep deprivation and nappy changing fatigue that occurs with a new born. We are experiencing the same ourselves though we are getting some reprieve as Granny Barbara is being a fantastic help. Thank you for lending us Granny Barbara for this time we really appreciate it. Hope all is well. Talk to you soon."
As somebody who grew up with my grandmother alongside all my siblings and cousins, I certainly know how indispensable Granny-help would be for new additions to the family!
