We like to think our delivery service is pretty speedy. You can order up until 4pm any week day for next day delivery, even to Europe. We make all our gifts up freshly which is pretty time consuming so we're proud to be able to offer this service for any gift basket or hamper on our website, even if you create your own.However, sometimes customers need a gift even faster than this...like today! We wish we would help with all these requests, but unfortunately we can't be in all places at once when you service the wider market. We make all the gift baskets ourselves at a central point rather than outsourcing you see, and so it's just not physically possible. We can however offer this to the local area, and even a little further afield if we rope in a local same day courier.We had a recent request from a gentleman in South Africa, who needed a birthday basket delivered to his sister in a neighbouring town & within a couple of hours. With various staff members off on holiday or with illness we didn't have anyone available to action this within the time period. Sometimes if evening delivery is ok we can delivery gift baskets on our way home from the office, but this was especially urgent. We contacted a local courier, Captain Courier, who offer same day deliveries and got a quote. We were then able to advise our customer how much extra this would be and make the booking for him. Captain courier then came to collect his gift hamper within an hour and then delivered it straight away after driving the 15 miles. Talk about fast service eh!delivery man
