It's all about the birthdays today for the hampers section. I always thought April was the month of birthdays, simply because I know a LOT of people who have their birthdays then, but it seems like October is just as popular nowadays.2400874 Artisan FayreWe have Coral and Tommy who apparently share the same birthday, because Kathryn is sending them this Artisan Fayre hamper to share between them. Kathryn also left a note on the order for us to alert the delivering courier to be patient at the recipient's door. And now I cannot help but be a little bit curious. Is it because Coral and Tommy are unwell on their birthday and need time to shuffle over to the door? Is it because they are elderly and need that extra time to recognise their doorbell rang? Or are they just like me, someone who hears the doorbell ring in the morning then proceed to moan and groan and pull the bed covers over my head in attempt to ignore it and get back to sleep? (Yes, I know. I'm a delivery courier's worst nightmare in the morning)And then we have another birthday girl next. It's a Great Taste Award Silver hamper going to Margaret in Ipswich.2400873 GTA SilverThe gift was ordered by Pete and Jennifer in Titusville. They want to wish their mum a Happy Birthday tomorrow with this gift of award winning goodies. Unfortunately, we had ran out of the chocolate enrobed mangoes listed in the basket description, so we had to replace it with sundried strawberries instead. But trust me, these strawberries? They are de-li-cious. I once found a sample packet in the staff kitchen. My intent was only to have the single one strawberry, later, I went back for another, and another, and before I knew it I gobbled the whole packet! Whoops!2400853 & 2400868 Cheesy Sunshine (& Wine Duo)Then we have two Cheesy Sunshines leaving our depot. One has two bottles of wine with it, making it a Cheesy Sunshine & Wine Duo hamper. But the hamper itself is the same. I'm really glad to see this range is still massively popular even after it got an update. I think it's because they are simply just so versatile! Birthday, Get Well, Thank You, Congratulations etc. It's suitable for everything. And who in their right mind would object to a cheese focused hamper? Certainly not me. Hand me a block of Red Leicester any time and it will be gone before you know it.
