We have been very busy this month, we introduced two new systems into the workplace which although there were teething problems in the beginning they are a great help to everyone. Along with this Christmas is coming (Yay) so we are getting lots of things ready in preparation, gift baskets and hampers are beginning to look more festive with their bows being tied in advance and we are busy organising all the Christmas orders. Finally, we unfortunately have to say goodbye to one of our Web & Software Developers Simon White, who is now going back to University to finish his degree. Leaving Baskets Galore isn't complete until we have spent an afternoon eating cake (this time it was chocolate flavour, yum yum).Though all is not lost as we have also welcomed two new team members, firstly Luke Daly (Simon & Luke already knew each other from meeting on an online computer game called Minecraft, it is a small world), who will replace Simon as a Web & Software Developer in our IT Team. Luke will be part of technical support for both the systems in the office and the warehouse, developing new software and also maintaining and updating the websites and servers. Secondly, Shannon Williamson who is working closely with the Social Media & Marketing Manager, this role mainly comprises of keeping update with all of Baskets Galore's social media sites and writing blogs.Luke and Shannon are both University students who are doing their placements at Baskets Galore, we hope that both Luke and Shannon have a great year working with us and we wish Simon every success in the future.
