It’s mid November and Christmas Hamper packing is in full flow. The months of calculation and preparation during the quieter summer months have finally paid off, and it’s very gratifying to see the thousands of sturdy baskets lined up in all their glory, sitting with beautiful bows and fresh crinkle cut paper either waiting to be filled and in the process of becoming some of our most popular baskets such as, Christmas Traditional Feast, Christmas Tea & Biscuits and Chilly Christmas Banquet.
We sequence assembly in order to provide you with the best and freshest hamper in the UK. Longer life products such as chocolates, jarred epicurean products, nuts, teas, coffees and many others are packed first, followed at the last minute by an influx of freshly baked goodies such as cakes and mince pies, as we receive them in batches from the bakeries.  Finally the fresh products such as the cooked ham, smoked salmon, duck, smoked scallops and oysters are left until the moment of dispatch.
In order to ensure that the products have as long a shelf life as possible beyond Christmas Day, we delay the arrival of these products until 7th-12th December. This means that all cold products will have a minimum shelf life of 30th December with the overwhelming majority having a January Shelf Life.
If you order a Hamper containing cold products such as salmon or ham we will ship your hamper on or after the 10th of December. If you require delivery before this date, then please bare in mind that the best before date of these products is unlikely to stretch until beyond Christmas Day.
So remember to visit our Christmas page and order before the 20th of December to make sure your basket arrives for Christmas.
